Vincent John Sabia, of Hillside Media Productions, was pursuing a bachelor's degree in communications at Hofstra University when he met his college sweetheart, Lisa Casso, also pursuing the same major now working for ABC networks in the city. The two became close friends and discovered a mutual interest in each other. Little did they know at the time that two and a half years later they would end up at Bentley Diamond looking for an engagement ring. After being thoroughly educated on choosing the right diamond, John chose the perfect ring and proposed 30 feet up on a rock climbing wall at Chelsea Piers, NY. Of course, the couple went back to Bentley Diamond to purchase wedding bands Shortly after, they began planning the wedding of their dreams. The wedding was held on Long Island, NY on a perfect summer day, July 1st, 2007. John,27, of Neptune NJ, and Lisa, 27, of Woodside, NY exchanged vows in front of their friends and family at the Church of St. Aidan. . The two danced the night away along with their guests and feasted on a large cocktail hour followed by a five course meal at Jericho Terrace located in Mineola, NY. An unforgettable night was paired with an unforgettable 11 day honeymoon in Tahiti. The happy couple are now residing in Belmar, NJ and are currently planning another major event, The Fight Cancer Festival, October 13th, 2007. Plans are underway to help raise awareness and funds for cancer through music, food and fundraising at the Taylor Pavilion. As soon as the event ends, they will start planning for next year's Fight Cancer Festival and will hope to make it bigger and better with each passing year
